Job summary

Globetronics Sdn. Bhd. invites motivated Industrial Trainees to join the Safety & Health team in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.

You will gain hands-on exposure to workplace safety, occupational health and environmental practices, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include assisting in daily EHS activities, conducting safety inspections, preparing procedures and documentation, supporting incident reporting, and participating in toolbox talks and emergency drills.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of workplace safety & health practices.
• Knowledge of HIRARC/ISO 45001/ISO 14001 or Malaysian OSH requirements is an advantage.
• Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Assist Safety & Health team in daily EHS activities.
• Conduct workplace safety inspections and identify unsafe conditions.
• Assist in HIRARC activities.
• Support PPE compliance and 5S activities.
• Prepare and update safety procedures and documentation.
• Support incident/near-miss reporting and investigations.
• Conduct safety awareness programmes and toolbox talks.
• Support emergency response activities and fire drills.
• Monitor chemical safety, waste and environmental requirements.
• Support EHS audits and inspections.
