Job summary

TTM Technologies Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. requires an experienced EHS Manager to lead Safety and Health initiatives at our Penang site. You will manage budgets, drive ISO 45001 implementation, and ensure 100% compliance with Malaysian laws and corporate safety requirements.

You will oversee safety KPIs, audit programs, incident investigations, risk assessments, and training of the Safety and Health team, while coordinating business continuity plans and driving a strong safety culture across the site.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in a management capacity.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Safety and Health or EHS management in Manufacturing; PCB experience preferred.
• Good understanding of Safety and Health compliance of Malaysia law and requirements.
• Language fluency: English and Mandarin are highly essential to communicate with colleagues of sister plants in other countries.

Responsibilities

• Manage budget and cost control for Safety and Health Department.
• Establish or maintain the ISO45001 system, and ensure site 100% compliance with the laws and requirements related to safety and health and Corporate requirements;
• Oversee KPIs related to safety and health like all injuries and fires/smokes;
• Be accountable for site overall safety and health, such as Industrial hygiene, Fire-fighting system and Fire-prevention, Property loss prevention, Safety risk/hazard assessment, contractor safety, Ergonomics, Incident Investigation, chemical safety, machinery safety, electrical safety etc.;
• Coordinate site Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plan;
• Organize or lead all safety audits/inspections, such as all the customers’ audits and OHSAS, RBA, CSR audits, implement the Best Practices;
• Coach, communicate and work with other site departments to address the issues related to Safety and Health;
• Train and develop site Safety and Health Team both knowledge, skills and ability;
• Assist site General Manager to build good Safety Culture;
• Other jobs assigned by GM and Corporate leaders of Safety and Health.

10 years + in Management capacity.

Minimum 5 years’ experience in Safety and Health or EHS management capacity in Manufacturing, PCB experience will be preferred.

Bachelor's degree in engineering (Environmental, Safety, Chemical etc) or equivalent Science Degree.

Diploma holder could be considered with relevant working experience.
