Job summary

JLL is seeking an EHS Executive in Johor, Malaysia to ensure regulatory compliance and promote a culture of safety. The role involves developing and enforcing EHS policies, performing risk assessments, delivering training, and coordinating incident investigations.

The candidate will manage EHS records, support ISO certifications, and contribute to continual safety improvements across facilities. Relevant certifications and 3+ years of hands-on EHS experience are preferred for this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years working experience in EHS roles.
• NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA certifications are highly valuable.
• Experience implementing safety programs and ISO 9001/14001/45001 is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Inspect facilities to ensure EHS compliance.
• Conduct risk assessments and identify hazards.
• Design and deliver EHS training programs for staff and contractors.
• Lead investigations of accidents, incidents and near-misses to identify causes and corrective actions.
• Coordinate emergency response planning and drills.
• Manage EHS documentation and support ISO certifications.
• Participate in internal and external EHS audits to drive improvements.
