Job summary

JLL in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, is seeking an EHS Executive to ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations and to develop robust policies.

You will lead risk assessments, conduct inspections, train employees, investigate incidents, and manage environmental programs, while maintaining ISO documentation.

A bachelor's degree and 3 years' experience, plus NEBOSH/IOSH certifications, are preferred; on-site role with opportunities to impact safety culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of EHS experience.
• Professional certifications such as NEBOSH or IOSH.
• Experience with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and enforce EHS policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and workplace inspections to identify hazards and ensure safety measures.
• Design and deliver EHS training programs for employees and contractors.
• Lead investigations of accidents, incidents, and near-misses to identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Manage environmental aspects such as waste, emissions, and resource conservation; promote sustainability initiatives.
• Maintain EHS records and prepare reports for management and regulators; manage ISO-related documentation.
• Coordinate and participate in internal and external EHS audits.
