Job summary

Gapura Solution in Malaysia is seeking an EHS specialist to sustain and improve ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems and serve as the lead auditor for the EHS program. You will ensure regulatory compliance across health, safety, and environmental activities and plan related trainings for staff and contractors.

The role requires a Bachelor in HSE or related field and an NIOSH certificate, with 1–2 years of experience in managing HSE activities.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in HSE or related engineering.
1–2 years experience in managing HSE activities.
NIOSH certificate or equivalent.
Experience in HSE/projects/engineering field work.
Knowledge in HSE technical areas.
Fluent in Malay and English.

Responsibilities

Sustain and improve ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems and act as lead auditor for EHS management system.
Sustain and update ISO procedures as needed.
Plan and conduct EHS related training for employees, visitors and contractors.
Conduct EHS inspections/assessments and provide technical support.
Sustain industrial hygiene monitoring program and ensure compliance.
Ensure site compliance with client, governmental and local regulations; liaise with agencies.
Submit regulatory reports accurately within deadlines.
Perform accident investigations and report to authorities as required.
Sustain Contractor Safety program and conduct contractor orientation and badge issuance.
Manage emergency response preparedness program and update procedures and evacuation maps.
