Job summary

American Air Filter Manufacturing Sdn. Bhd. in Shah Alam is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety Assistant to support EHS management through compliance reviews, risk assessments and safety programs.

You will assist in ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 documentation, monitor energy usage, train workers, and help implement Green Heart Factory initiatives while fostering a culture of safety on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Environment, Health & Safety.
• At least 1 year of full-time working experience in the related field.
• PC Skills: Email, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Have basic knowledge on ISO Standards & Certifications (EQA, OSHA 1994 & FMA 1974).

Responsibilities

• Assist in compliance reviews and risk assessments to support EHS management.
• Support ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 documentation and audits.
• Monitor energy consumption and analyze usage daily.
• Conduct EHS meetings/trainings as scheduled.
• Walk the factory floor to reinforce EHS presence and culture.
• Assist with PPE procurement per manufacturing requirements.
