Job summary

SK8 Engineering in Malaysia is seeking a Project Administrator and Drafting Support to assist the project team with document control, permits, contracts, meeting minutes, progress reports, and drawings, ensuring compliance with ISO procedures.

The successful candidate will maintain drawing registers, update document databases, support site coordination, and revise drawings using AutoCAD, while coordinating with contractors and suppliers to ensure accurate, organized project documentation.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Drafting, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in project administration and/or technical drafting.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design or drafting software.
• Good understanding of project documentation, drawing management, and filing systems.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Knowledge of ISO documentation control or quality management systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the project team, including document control, filing, and correspondence management.
• Prepare, organize, and maintain project documentation such as permits, contracts, meeting minutes, progress reports, and drawings.
• Coordinate with internal departments, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project communication.
• Ensure all project documentation complies with company standards, ISO procedures, and client requirements.
• Prepare and update technical drawings, layouts, and plans using AutoCAD (or other drafting software).
• Revise drawings based on project changes, engineering feedback, or client requirements.
• Maintain organized drawing registers and version control for all design documents.
• Support project engineers and designers with technical drafting and documentation tasks.
• Monitor and update project databases and documentation systems.
• Support project site coordination when required.
• Perform any other related duties or ad hoc assignments as assigned by the Project Manager or Management.
