Qualifikationen

• Certificate, SKM Level 3, Diploma or equivalent in Urban Rail Transit Power Supply and Distribution Technology, Railway Power Supply Technology, Power Supply and Utilization Technology, Electrical Automation or a related field.
• Familiarity with OSHE requirements and high-voltage work safety procedures is preferred.
• Willingness to work shifts, at height and outdoors along the railway alignment, and to respond to emergency breakdowns.
• Good written and spoken Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Aufgaben

• Carry out inspections, preventive maintenance and repairs of traction substations, wayside power supply and distribution systems, and overhead contact system equipment.
• Perform equipment condition checks and basic testing; assist with fault diagnosis and restoration of power supply.
• Accurately complete maintenance, defect and test records, and manage tools, test instruments and spare parts.
• Comply with railway work rules and electrical safety requirements; work shifts and during maintenance windows at height when required.
• Support other departments on maintenance-related matters, including service recovery and incident response.
• Record and report daily work to the supervisor in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
• Maintain a clean and orderly workplace in line with 5S practices.
• Wear PPE and comply with OSHE policies at all times.

Key Responsibilities Requirements

• 1. Carry out inspections, preventive maintenance and repairs of traction substations, wayside power supply and distribution systems, and overhead contact system (OCS) equipment in accordance with maintenance plans and work procedures.
• 2. Perform equipment condition checks and basic testing; assist with fault diagnosis, emergency repairs and restoration of power supply.
• 3. Accurately complete maintenance, defect and test records, and manage tools, test instruments and spare parts.
• 4. Comply with railway work rules and electrical safety requirements; work shifts, night possessions/maintenance windows and at height when required.
• 5. Support other departments on maintenance-related matters, including service recovery and incident response.
• 6. Record and report daily work to the supervisor in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System requirements.
• 7. Maintain a clean and orderly workplace before, during and after work in line with 5S practices.
• 8. Wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE) and comply with KTMB Occupational Safety, Health and Environment (OSHE) policies at all times.

Requirements

• 1. Certificate, SKM Level 3, Diploma or equivalent in Urban Rail Transit Power Supply and Distribution Technology, Railway Power Supply Technology, Power Supply and Utilization Technology, Electrical Automation or a related field.
• 2. Familiarity with OSHE requirements, high-voltage work safety procedures, PPE and 5S practices is preferred.
• 3. Willing and able to work shifts, at height and outdoors along the railway alignment, and to respond to emergency breakdowns.
• 4. No fear of heights; normal vision, hearing and colour vision; medically fit and able to pass the required medical examination.
• 5. Good written and spoken Bahasa Malaysia and English.
