AFY Autism and Special Needs Centre is hiring an Early Childhood Teacher to join our Cyberjaya centre in Selangor. The role is full-time, focused on nurturing developmental milestones across cognitive, emotional, social and physical domains.

You will plan play-based activities, observe progress, and collaborate with families to support holistic growth. Strong communication and classroom management are essential, with a commitment to safeguarding and ongoing professional development.

AFY Autism and Special Needs Centre is seeking an Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at our centre in Cyberjaya, Selangor. This is a full-time position where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the foundational years of children's development. As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will create nurturing, stimulating learning environments that foster cognitive, emotional, social and physical development in young learners. This position is central to our mission of providing exceptional early childhood education and care.

What you'll be doing

• Planning and delivering age-appropriate curriculum activities that promote holistic development across all learning domains
• Creating inclusive, safe and stimulating classroom environments that encourage exploration and discovery
• Observing and assessing children's progress, documenting developmental milestones and adjusting teaching strategies accordingly
• Building positive relationships with children and fostering their emotional well-being and confidence
• Collaborating with parents and guardians to support children's learning and development both at school and at home
• Managing classroom behaviour through positive discipline strategies and establishing clear, consistent routines
• Maintaining detailed records of children's attendance, progress and any concerns
• Supporting children with different learning needs and ensuring differentiated instruction where necessary
• Participating in staff meetings and professional development activities to maintain best practices in early childhood education
• Assisting with the organisation and supervision of school events, outings and extracurricular activities

What we're looking for

• A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education, Early Childhood Development, or an equivalent teaching credential
• A genuine passion for working with young children and a commitment to their holistic development
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
• Excellent classroom management abilities and the capacity to maintain a supportive, structured learning environment
• Knowledge of early childhood development theories and contemporary pedagogical approaches
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning activities that align with curriculum standards
• Patience, creativity and adaptability when responding to children's individual needs and interests
• Physical stamina and good health, as the role involves active engagement with young children throughout the day
• A commitment to safeguarding and the well-being of all children in your care
• First aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain this upon employment)
• Proficiency in English; proficiency in other languages is advantageous
