Qualifications

• Experience teaching English as an additional language in immersive settings.
• Solid understanding of second language acquisition theory and practice.
• Ability to differentiate instruction for learners from diverse linguistic backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging EAL lessons that develop grammar, listening, reading, writing and speaking.
• Co-plan and co-teach with content-area teachers to embed language development.
• Assess, monitor and report students’ language progress using appropriate tools.
• Mentor a designated group of students and contribute to student progress records.
