Job summary

StarHub is seeking a Customer Relationship Consultant (Telesales) in Malaysia to manage inbound calls, promote our products, and build strong customer relationships over the phone. You will handle sales, salvage and termination inquiries, provide accurate product information, and proactively upsell services while maintaining high professionalism.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in telesales, customer service, or a related role (telecommunication industry experience is a plus).
• Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
• Ability to handle high call volumes while maintaining quality and professionalism.
• Goal-oriented mindset with the ability to handle objections and close deals effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset.
• Highly motivated and sales driven individual who is also an excellent team player.
• Proficient in using CRM systems, telecommunication tools, and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound sales, salvage & termination inquiries, promoting products and building relationships over the phone.
• Resolve customer issues efficiently, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Provide accurate product information, pricing, and solutions to meet customer needs.
• Proactively upsell and cross-sell additional StarHub services.
• Maintain accurate customer records in the CRM system, documenting interactions.
• Conduct outbound sales calls to promote telecommunication products/services.
• Identify customer needs and provide tailored solutions; follow up on leads from campaigns or referrals.
• Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets as per KPI standards.
