Job summary

Continental Platform (M) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an energetic sales consultant to greet customers, explain vehicle features, and guide them through the purchase process.

You will work with the Finance and Operations teams, maintain lead follow-ups, conduct test drives, and deliver weekly/monthly sales reports. The role requires strong customer service, market knowledge, and the ability to develop sales plans to reach targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification.
• Exceptional customer service skills, including interpersonal communication and rapport building.
• Resourceful and able to work with minimum supervision.
• Experienced in Automotive Industry and market.
• Enjoy meeting people and inquisitive in understanding customer needs.
• Pleasant personality with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dynamic, charismatic and customer oriented candidates.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers arriving at the dealership’s showroom.
• In-depth knowledge of the dealership’s vehicles, finance options and sales process.
• Showcase the dealership’s vehicles and explain their features and warranties to customers.
• Persuasiveness to convince customers to make a purchase.
• Able to answer and explain to customer questions about cars, financing and purchase process.
• Accompany customers on test drives.
• Coordinate sales with the Finance and Operations department.
• Maintain timely follow-ups and keep a close track of leads for closure of sales.
• Prepare and provide weekly and monthly sales report to Sales Manager.
• Generate leads and develop sales plans in consultation with Sales Manager to achieve sales target.
• Use, construct and monitor pipelines sales process (SPANCOP).
• Achieve monthly and yearly target schedule by the company.
• Promote and drive sales of new vehicle to achieve scheduled targets.
• Conduct roadshows, sales activities and launching events.
• Carry out sales visits and follow-up to evaluate customer satisfaction.
• Execute Cross Selling of group products especially on petroleum products and services
