Job summary

LTM CONCRTE INDUSTRIES (MACHAP) SDN BHD is seeking a lorry crane operator in Johor to transport precast concrete products. You will perform pre-trip checks, load safely at the plant, and drive to customer sites while operating the crane and unloading deliveries.

You will keep accurate trip logs, communicate via WhatsApp, and ensure DOs are completed. Requirements include a Class E licence, GDL, and crane competency; prefer CIDB Green Card and Bahasa Malaysia proficiency.

Qualifications

• Valid Class E driving licence and GDL (Goods Driving Licence).
• Crane operator certificate (DOSH / JKKP competency) preferred.
• CIDB Green Card.
• 2+ years driving a lorry crane (6-tyre) or 3 years on 10-tyre+ lorries (12-tyre).
• Able to read DOs and communicate in Bahasa Malaysia; basic English an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily pre-trip checks on the lorry, crane and lifting gear (slings, chains, shackles).
• Load precast products at the plant according to the Delivery Order (DO), using the correct lifting points.
• Secure loads properly with timber packers, straps and edge protectors.
• Drive safely and follow road laws, JPJ rules and weight limits.
• Operate the lorry crane safely at customer sites: check ground conditions, set outriggers and look out for overhead power lines.
• Unload products without damage and get the customer to sign the DO.
• Send load photos and delivery updates through the company WhatsApp group.
• Keep the trip log, fuel receipts and signed DOs up to date and hand them in daily.
• Keep the lorry clean, grease the crane and assist the workshop with servicing.
• Report accidents, defects, product damage and customer complaints immediately.

Job description

This role involves operating a lorry crane to transport and deliver precast concrete products. You will be responsible for pre-trip vehicle checks, loading products safely at the plant, driving to customer sites, operating the crane, unloading deliveries, and maintaining accurate documentation and communication throughout each trip.

Key responsibilities

About you

At least 2 years' experience driving a lorry crane (6-tyre), or 3 years on 10-tyre or larger lorries (12-tyre)

Knows basic rigging and slinging and can read a crane load chart

Good driving record with no outstanding summons

Physically fit and able to pass a medical check

Can read DOs and communicate in Bahasa Malaysia; basic English is an advantage

Can use WhatsApp to send photos and location

Willing to start early, work overtime and work Saturdays when needed

Experience with precast concrete products is an advantage

Candidates living near Simpang Renggam, Kluang or Ayer Hitam are preferred
