Job summary

Wakomas Chemical Sdn Bhd in Selangor is seeking a responsible Driver cum Facilities Support Assistant to provide executive driving services and assist with facility maintenance and office operations.

You will ensure vehicles, premises, and outdoor areas are well kept while supporting management and daily business activities with reliability and discretion.

The role requires a valid Malaysian Class B2 and D licence, at least 2 years of experience as a driver, and basic facilities knowledge.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or equivalent.
• Valid Malaysian Class B2 & D driving licence with a clean driving record.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an executive/personal driver.
• Experience supporting senior management or directors.
• Experience in basic building or facilities maintenance is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, professional, and punctual transportation for Management and designated family members.
• Remain on standby for appointments, meetings, business trips, airport transfers, and other official transportation requirements.
• Ensure assigned vehicles are clean, presentable, fully fuelled, and equipped with travel essentials including SmartTAG, Touch 'n Go card, parking access card, and drinking water.
• Assist with office-related deliveries, including documents, gifts, hampers, parcels, takeaway meals, and other business-related items.
• Perform ad-hoc driving assignments and errands as instructed by Management.
• Ensure all vehicles are maintained in excellent operating condition through regular inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Wash and clean company vehicles according to the scheduled routine.
• Coordinate scheduled servicing, repairs, inspections, tyre/battery replacement, detailing, polishing, and coating.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of company premises, outdoor areas, parking spaces, and surrounding environment.
• Monitor facility conditions and report maintenance issues to Administration or Management.

The successful candidate will ensure company vehicles, office facilities, and outdoor areas are maintained in excellent condition while delivering reliable support to Management and daily business operations.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure assigned vehicles are clean, presentable, fully fuelled, and equipped with all necessary travel essentials, including SmartTAG, Touch 'n Go card, parking access card, and drinking water.
• Assist with office-related deliveries, including documents, gifts, hampers, parcels, takeaway meals, and other business-related items.
• Perform ad-hoc driving assignments and errands as instructed by Management.
• Ensure all assigned company vehicles are maintained in excellent operating condition through regular inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Wash and clean company vehicles according to the scheduled routine.
• Coordinate scheduled servicing, repairs, inspections, tyre replacement, battery replacement, vehicle detailing, polishing, and coating.
• Maintain the cleanliness and general upkeep of company premises, outdoor areas, parking spaces, vehicle washing area, and surrounding environment.
• Monitor the condition of company facilities and report maintenance issues to the Administration team or Management in a timely manner.

About you

• Minimum SPM or equivalent.
• Valid Malaysian Class B2 & D driving licence with a clean driving record.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an executive or personal driver.
• Experience supporting senior management or directors is highly preferred.
• Experience in basic building or facilities maintenance will be an added advantage.
