Job summary

Yik Loong Air-Cond Sdn Bhd in Puchong New Village seeks a dependable driver to provide safe transportation for management and handle basic despatch tasks.

You will plan routes, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and ensure timely arrivals while complying with traffic laws. The role requires a valid Class D license, a clean driving record, and flexibility for weekends or public holidays. Prior driving experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification.
• Possess a valid driving license (Class D or equivalent) with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a personal driver or company driver is preferred.
• Familiar with local routes, especially within Klang Valley.
• High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
• Punctual, reliable, and able to manage time effectively.
• Physically fit and able to handle basic despatch tasks.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends or public holidays when required.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, timely and professional transportation for management to meetings, appointments and other official or personal destinations.
• Plan routes and schedules efficiently to ensure punctuality at all times.
• Perform despatch duties, including delivery and collection of documents, parcels, and items to/from banks, clients, and relevant stakeholders.
• Handle confidential documents and information with strict discretion.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel usage, and despatch activities.
• Ensure the assigned vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and serviced regularly.
• Conduct routine vehicle checks and responsible for the cleanliness, upkeep, and overall condition of the assigned vehicle, including arranging and sending the vehicle for routine maintenance, servicing, and necessary repairs in a timely manner.
• Comply with all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Be available for overtime, standby duties, or irregular working hours as required by the management.
• Assist with ad-hoc errands or tasks as assigned.
