Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure safety and roadworthiness.
• Maintain clean and well-maintained vehicle condition at all times.
• Keep accurate daily logs of trips, passenger counts and mileage.
• Communicate schedule updates or transport issues to management.
• Assist with general warehousing or loading tasks when not transporting.

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Driver holding both valid PSV (Public Service Vehicle) and GDL (Goods Driving Licence) to join our team at AWAGYU SDN. BHD. Based in Tebrau, Johor, this full-time position is essential for our daily operations. Your primary responsibility will be transporting our employees safely and punctually between their hostel and the workplace, alongside supporting our logistics and warehousing transport needs when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely and punctually transport employees between their hostel and the workplace according to established schedules.
• Operate company transport vehicles (vans/buses/lorries) responsibly and in compliance with all Malaysian traffic laws.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (checking brakes, tires, oil, lights, etc.) to ensure passenger safety and vehicle roadworthiness.
• Maintain a clean, hygienic, and well-maintained vehicle condition at all times.
• Keep accurate daily logs of trips, passenger counts, and vehicle mileage.
• Communicate effectively with management and operations teams regarding schedule updates or transport issues.
• Assist with general warehousing, loading, or distribution tasks during non-transport hours, as needed.

What We're Looking For

• Mandatory Licences: Valid and current PSV and GDL driving licences issued by JPJ.
• Proven experience as a professional driver, preferably in staff transport, logistics, or commercial driving.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian road safety regulations, traffic laws, and safe passenger-handling practices.
• Excellent navigational skills with strong familiarity across the Johor region (especially around Tebrau and surrounding industrial/residential areas).
• Punctual, reliable, patient, and possesses a strong sense of responsibility for passenger safety.
• Clean driving record with no serious traffic violations or suspension history.
• Physically fit and able to assist with light cargo handling or general operations if required.
