Qualifications

At least a Diploma holder in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Proficiency with engineering design programs and excellent technical skills, especially with TEKLA, CAD software, AutoCAD, TurboNest, CypNest, Tube Laser, Kebei Beam Laser.
Sound knowledge of design and engineering principles and best practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

Prepare cutting plan on plate and beam based on engineering drawing.
Prepare nesting plan and update list.
Ensure drawings are prepared according to design requirements and specifications.
Work closely with production and project/engineering teams.
Handle all range of design detailing and drawings independently.
Determine procedures and instructions to be followed according to design specifications and quality of required materials.
Consult or assist engineers to carry out all production drawings.
Handle ad-hoc tasks assigned by superior.
