Job summary

Supermicro is seeking a regional technology strategist to drive market-aligned initiatives across Southeast Asia, including Malaysia. You will partner with regional teams to align portfolio with market needs and open new opportunities in data center, IT, and cloud sectors.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and proven IT/semiconductor experience, with strong relationship management, negotiation, and communication skills, plus willingness to travel for customer and partner

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field is required.
• Proven IT or semiconductor industry experience in product/program/project management, partnerships, business development, or solution enablement.
• Strong understanding of hardware acceleration, AI/ML workloads, HPC, and enterprise/cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Co-work with regional team as solution owner for strategic initiatives and growth.
• Develop and execute regional technology and business strategy aligning portfolio with market needs.
• Identify and open new customer opportunities through collaboration with sales/BD.
• Represent Supermicro with internal teams and customers across regions.
• Travel as needed to support customers, partners, and industry engagements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Co-work with regional team and act as both technical Solution owner for strategic initiatives and business growth.
• Develop and execute regional technology and business strategy — Align Supermicro’s portfolio (e.g., GPU-accelerated servers, rack systems, liquid-cooled solutions for AI/HPC) with Middle East market needs, including data center expansion, sovereign cloud, and AI initiatives in places such as Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, India, Thaliland, etc.
• By using solutions ans work with sales/BD to open new doors at new customers that have not been served by Supermicro today.
• Represent Supermicro with strong presence and communication across internal teams, customers
• Travel as needed to support customer, partner, and industry engagements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in IT or semiconductor industries in roles such as product/program/project management, partnership management, business development, or solution enablement.
• Strong understanding of hardware acceleration, AI/ML workloads, HPC, and enterprise/cloud infrastructure and Enterprise market
• Exceptional relationship management, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to influence customers.
• A track record of driving results, navigating competitive landscapes, and winning strategic opportunities.
• High resilience, passion, and the drive to excel in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
