Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into Axiom, with the spin planned for Q1 2027. If the spin occurs, this role will support Axiom, focusing on critical digital infrastructure and power/thermal management for AI data centers.

We are seeking a Materials Planning Senior Director located in Batu Kawan, Penang. You will direct and guide strategies for efficient and cost-effective materials flow, partnering with management to deliver maximum business value.

Formación

• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree.
• Typically requires 12 years of experience in materials management.
• Lean Supply Chain training desired.
• Preference Master's degree in related field.

• Coordinate with Finance on inventory carrying costs and forecast requirements.

• Implement HR strategies to recruit and retain a qualified workforce.

Job Summary

Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company, Axiom, with the spin planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support Axiom, a company focused on critical digital infrastructure and delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.

Summary :

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Materials Planning Senior Director located in Batu Kawan, Penang . Working closely with the management teams within the Materials segment, in charge of directing and guiding the implementation of strategies and tactical execution for efficient and cost-effective materials flow to deliver the maximum advantage to the business (segment) and customers.

What a typical day looks like:

• Guide and direct sourcing teams in identifying, communicating and implementing sourcing strategies and supply chain management best practice.
• Plan and implement activities related to the timely and cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials.
• Work closely with sub-ordinates to ensure global strategies and policies are effectively developed, communicated and implemented driving best practices.
• Develop, implement and maintain policies, procedures, material control systems and metrics to reduce costs, streamline procedures and implement solutions.
• Establish successful relationships with suppliers on a country, regional or global basis to ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain as scheduled and the maintenance of inventory at minimum acceptable levels.
• Work with the Global Commodity management and strategic supply chain management teams on sourcing strategies including supplier selection, risk research and capacity management.
• Coordinate with Finance on matters involving inventory carrying costs and review and plan requirements for acceptable inventory.
• Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
• Regularly interact with executives and major clients which may result in influencing and/or persuading customer negotiations.
• Implement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.
