Job summary

SilTerra in Kulim, Malaysia seeks a Senior Industrial Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing team and drive operational excellence in semiconductor manufacturing.

You will develop strategic plans, optimize processes, and manage capital projects while ensuring safety, quality, and environmental compliance. Ten years of IE experience and advanced degrees are preferred for this leadership role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Master's degree or PhD preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in industrial engineering, preferably in the semiconductor, media, or solar manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to align the department's goals with the overall company objectives.
• Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team of engineers to achieve operational excellence.
• Process Optimization: Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement, reducing costs and increasing efficiency.
• Capacity Planning: Conduct capacity planning analysis to ensure optimal resource utilization and meet production demands.
• Project Management: Oversee and manage capital projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution.
• Performance Management: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure department performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
• Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
