Job summary

Honeywell Technologies in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, seeks a Director of Business Development – EPC, ASEAN to drive growth across Process Automation, Process Technologies, Industrial Automation and Building Automation with EPCs in the region.

You will identify and pursue opportunities, build strategic EPC partnerships, and collaborate with colleagues across China, Japan, and Korea to develop market insights and execute joint initiatives.

Qualifications

• 15+ years’ experience in sales or business development, preferably with EPCs in the region.

As Director of Business Development – EPC, ASEAN, you will play a critical role in driving the growth and success of all businesses of Honeywell Technologies - Process Automation, Process Technologies, Industrial Automation and Building Automation, with the EPCs in the region. You will be responsible for business development - identifying and pursuing new opportunities across businesses and building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders. You will be required to collaborate with colleagues across countries such as China, Japan and Korea to develop insights into business opportunities.

This role reports to President of Honeywell Technologies, ASEAN and will be based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive EPC business strategies aligned with the region’s growth strategy
• Monitor market trends, EPC activities, conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities and risks across region
• Collaborate with sales teams to drive specific deals. Build and maintain strong, strategic partnerships with key EPC’s, understand their project pipelines, technical requirements
• Act as the primary liaison between HT and EPC to facilitate communication and collaboration, drive joint initiatives and projects that foster mutual growth and value creation.
• Partner with ASEAN business leaders to identify and drive collaboration on cross-selling opportunities, leveraging Honeywell’s broad portfolio to maximize customer value and orders growth

YOU MUST HAVE

• 15+ years’ experience in sales, business development preferably with EPC’s
• Proven ability to lead complex deals, cross-functional teams and successfully driving business growth and achieving targets
• Strong network of industry contacts in the ASEAN region and ability to build and maintain relationships.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work in a fast-paced and matrix organization.
• Strong leadership to manage stakeholder relationships with influence skills.

• Proven experience in business development or sales leadership roles within EPC or industrial sectors.
