Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a customer-focused team member in Kuala Lumpur to deliver friendly service, explain attractions and promote memberships. You will operate the cashier, manage promotions and maintain a clean, safe store environment.

Ideally you thrive in a fast-paced setting, participate in events, stock management and team collaboration, and may assist other stores as needed. This role requires weekend and holiday shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced retail environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, energetic customer service and engage customers.
• Operate cashier and POS system; promote memberships and promotions.
• Complete daily opening checklist; ensure attractions and areas are safe and clean.
• Monitor stock levels; assist in receiving and stock takes; monthly stocktakes.
• Work with team to maintain a positive working environment.
• Follow health, safety standards and report hazards or malfunctions.
• Participate in promotional events, roadshows and CSR activities.
• Follow SOPs and daily checklists to ensure consistent service standards.
• Participate in training and improve product knowledge and operational skills.
• Support another store as a helper if required and undertake ad hoc tasks.

Customer Services :

Provide friendly, energetic and engaging customer service by interacting confidently with customers, explaining attractions, encouraging participation, and creating a fun and memorable experience.

Operating cashier counter :

Operate the cashier and POS system accurately while actively promoting memberships, promotions and company products to customers.

Cleaning and Maintenance :

Complete the daily opening checklist before store opening to ensure all attractions, equipment, facilities and operational areas are safe, clean, fully functional and ready for business operations.

Inventory Management :

Monitor stock levels of merchandise items and informing superior when restocking is necessary and assist in receiving and storing deliveries. To perform monthly stocktake counting.

Team Collaboration :

Work closely with team members to create a positive, energetic and customer-focused working environment.

Compliance and Safety :

Comply with all company policies, health and safety standards, promptly report any operational incidents, hazards or equipment malfunctions, and take immediate action in accordance with company procedures.

Events and activities :

Actively participate in promotional events, roadshows, CSR activities and customer engagement programmes by confidently interacting with customers and representing the company brand.

Company SOP and Procedure :

Follow all company SOPs, operational procedures and daily checklists to ensure consistent service standards.

Training and education :

Actively participate in training programmes to continuously improve product knowledge, customer service and operational skills.

To support another store as a helper if required.

Undertake any other duties or ad hoc tasks as assigned by top management or from the holding company in Japan, from time to time . This may include tasks beyond the scope of the standard job description to contribute to the overall success of the team and organization.
