Job summary

OCBC Malaysia is seeking a Product Owner to translate customer needs into digital channel requirements, driving the design, development, and launch of new products and services for Wholesale and SME segments. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end user journeys and ensure alignment with business strategy.

You will manage the product backlog, lead UAT and rollout activities, and maintain the roadmap within an Agile framework.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience working in Agile environments and product ownership roles.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and UX/design tools for product delivery.
• Understanding of digital channels in financial services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the product development of digital channels end-to-end within Wholesale and SME segments.
• Collaborate with business users, specialists, and ops teams to gather requirements and design end-to-end UI/UX journeys.
• Own the product backlog with detailed user stories and drive UAT and deployment activities.
• Manage the product roadmap and prioritize user stories based on stakeholder input.
• Oversee modifications and enhancements to address regulatory and business needs.
• Coordinate pre-launch activities including approvals, process operationalization, and documentation updates.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
• Define and monitor KPIs to measure benefits and alignment with business goals.
• Collaborate with Operations, Tech, and Client Servicing to resolve service delivery issues.
