Job summary

Tentacle Tech is seeking a Digital Solution Architect to shape the digital architecture landscape for banking platforms in Malaysia. You will lead design, integration, and documentation across digital banking platforms while collaborating with business and technical stakeholders to align architecture with business requirements and platform boundaries.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in banking domain BA/SA work.
• Strong techno-functional background with API integration experience.
• Good knowledge of banking domains like Digital STP, Payments, Dashboards, Inquiries or Wealth.
• Familiar with JIRA, Confluence and Agile delivery practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement with an independent mindset.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in IT/CS/Engineering; CBAP or TOGAF is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and drive architecture approval aligned with business requirements.
• Produce Solution Architecture Documents (SAD) and lead integration/data mapping across regional platforms.
• Provide clarity and guidance to technical delivery teams on design and interfaces.
• Propose and document detailed design papers prior to IT spend approval.
• Coach and support the integration team on data mapping exercises.
• Maintain updated documentation and communicate spec changes to teams.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders on solution delivery.
