Job summary

KPJ Healthcare Berhad seeks a Dietitian to deliver patient-centered nutrition care, conduct assessments, develop care plans, provide counseling, and monitor progress within a hospital setting.

You will collaborate with Doctors, Nurses, and Allied Health professionals, review menus for therapeutic diets, ensure food safety, and participate in quality improvement and community nutrition activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics or Postgraduate Diploma in Dietetics (recognized by relevant authority).
• Registered with Malaysian Allied Health Professions Council (MAHPC).
• 1–3 years of clinical dietetics experience (fresh graduates may be considered).
• Familiarity with hospital dietetics workflow, food service operations, and clinical documentation.
• Strong clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice skills, including comprehensive nutrition assessment, individualized care planning, and patient progress monitoring.
• Effective communication, counselling, presentation, and public speaking skills, with the ability to deliver tailored diet advice, patient and caregiver education, staff briefings, and community or health promotion programs.
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Strong organizational, workload management, documentation, and reporting skills, including competent use of hospital information systems.
• Basic competency in quality improvement and clinical audit activities.
• Good observational skills in monitoring food preparation, portioning, and adherence to therapeutic diet requirements.

Responsibilities

JOB REQUIREMENT

Education:
