Job summary

KPJ Selangor Specialist Hospital in Malaysia is seeking a professional Radiographer to perform diagnostic imaging across X-ray, CT, MRI, fluoroscopy, mammography and more. You will ensure radiation safety, accurate patient positioning, and high-quality images while supporting workflow and documentation in PACS/RIS/EMR.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Medical Imaging, registration under Act 304, and a willingness to work rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Imaging / Radiography.
• Registered under Act 304 and Allied Health Professions Act 774.
• Fresh graduates accepted; 1 year experience preferred.
• Experience with X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound and fluoroscopy.
• Strong commitment to safety and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures across X-ray, CT, MRI, Fluoroscopy, Mammography, Trauma Imaging and Mobile X-ray.
• Apply radiation protection principles to protect patients and staff.
• Prepare and educate patients, ensuring comfort and safety throughout imaging.
• Ensure accurate positioning and acquisition of high-quality images for radiologist review.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment; escalate technical issues when needed.
• Maintain infection control standards in imaging rooms and equipment.
• Coordinate scheduling and support radiologists during procedures.
• Update imaging records in PACS/RIS/EMR with accurate data.
• Report incidents to Head Diagnostic Imaging Services and participate in root cause analysis.
• Mentor juniors and students on techniques, safety and professional conduct.
