Job summary

Sunway Medical Centre Sdn Bhd in Subang Jaya invites applications for a Radiographer to perform a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays, MRI, fluoroscopy, mammography, CT scans, and DEXA, in line with established protocols and safety standards. The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Imaging or equivalent, and registration with the Ministry of Health Malaysia.

You will maintain radiology equipment, document procedures, and ensure accurate charging in the Hospital

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Medical Imaging or equivalent qualification.
Registered Radiographer with the Ministry of Health Malaysia.
Familiar with radiographic techniques and medical imaging equipment.
High level of patience, empathy, and compassion towards patients and their family members.
Good knowledge of Anatomy, Physiology, Radiation Physics, Radiation Safety Principles, and Magnet Safety Principles.

Responsibilities

Perform a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with protocols and safety standards.
Handle and maintain radiology equipment, accessories, and facilities with proper care.
Promptly send completed patient studies to PACS.
Accurately document procedures in the registration and record books.
Ensure correct charges are entered into the Hospital Information System.
Upgrade skills and knowledge through continuing medical education and subspecialty development.
