This full-time role ensures the reliable operation of deionized water and wastewater treatment systems, with responsibilities including monitoring, maintenance, data analysis, and collaboration with the engineering team to upgrade processes.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Water/Environmental Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 1–3 years hands-on experience in DI water and wastewater treatment systems.
• Strong knowledge of water chemistry, treatment processes and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong attention to detail and record-keeping.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

The role

Toyo-Memory Technology Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled and experienced DI Water & WWTP Technician to join our team at our state-of-the-art facility in Kulim Hi-Tech Park, Kedah. This full-time role is a crucial one within our Water & Waste Engineering division, responsible for ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of our deionized water and wastewater treatment systems.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine monitoring, maintenance and troubleshooting of DI water and wastewater treatment systems
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and infrastructure to identify and address any issues
• Analyses water quality data and make necessary adjustments to treatment processes
• Maintain detailed records and documentation related to system performance and maintenance activities
• Work closely with the engineering team to implement system upgrades and optimization initiatives
• Ensure strict compliance with all relevant environmental regulations and company policies
• Provide training and support to other team members as needed
