Job summary

Jabil Circuit Sdn Bhd in Penang is seeking a technically strong DFM Engineer to execute DFM analyses for PCB/PCBA, ensuring compliance with DFx rules. The role focuses on delivering timely reports, communicating findings to internal teams and customers, and supporting KPI goals. Relocation to Penang is required.

You will review data packages, perform both automated and manual DFM analyses, and contribute to site improvements while adhering to safety and security policies.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in DFM analysis or PCB/PCBA manufacturing.
• Knowledge of PCBA reliability concepts and failure analysis techniques (EDX, SEM, FTIR).
• Experience with SMT process development and evaluation.
• Familiarity with design of experiments, root cause analysis, and statistical tools.

Responsibilities

• Review product data packages to enable DFM analysis.
• Perform automated and manual DFM analysis compliant with DFx procedures.
• Generate accurate DFM reports using the knowledge base tools.
• Communicate DFM findings with internal teams and customers.
• Support DFM team improvements and ME KPIs.
• Adhere to safety, health, and security policies.
