Job summary

Jabil Circuit Sdn Bhd is seeking a QA Engineer (Electrical/Electronic) to join our team and relocate to Penang. The role focuses on developing QA plans for global product introductions, supporting design and quotation phases, and driving process improvements across manufacturing and supplier networks.

Candidates should have at least 3 years of relevant experience, a background in electrical/electronic engineering, and a strong grounding in SPC and PCB assembly.

Qualifications

• Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and PCB assembly processes.
• Ability to maintain focus and quality under pressure.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
• Strong teamwork and cross-functional collaboration.
• Knowledge of quality systems and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain QA plans for global new product introductions.
• Support quoting activities during process design and implementation.
• Evaluate inspection processes and provide guidance.
• Develop and deliver customer-specific training for QA.
• Organize document storage and review for global accounts.
• Review supplier and customer discrepancies and track corrective actions.
• Drive process improvement and standardization of manufacturing processes.
• Provide technical quality support to customers as needed.
• Adhere to safety, health, and security policies.
