Job summary

ONL Biz Solutions in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a DevOps Engineer to build, administer, monitor and manage colocation and cloud servers. The role involves automating testing, deployment and configuration, plus maintaining the monitoring stack and documentation.

You will lead a junior DevOps team and liaise with developers to improve deployment processes. The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of Linux/Unix experience, strong scripting skills (Bash/Python/Golang), and familiarity with Apache/Nginx,

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of Linux/Unix administration experience (RedHat/Fedora/CentOS/Debian/Ubuntu/Rocky Linux/Amazon Linux 2)
• Fundamentals of networking, firewalls, switches, routers, and bare metal servers (PowerEdge) are advantageous
• Proficient with Git and GitHub/GitLab
• Comfortable scripting with Bash, Python, or Golang
• Experience with Apache & Nginx
• Experience deploying on infrastructure with load balancers
• 2-3 years in virtualization and related backup/export tasks
• Knowledge of Zabbix and Grafana server deployment and data sources
• Preferably 2 years AWS experience (EC2, RDS, VPC, S3, CloudFront, ECS, IAM, CloudWatch)

Responsibilities

• Build, administer, monitor and manage colocation and cloud servers

• Maintain and update documentation
• Lead and monitor Junior DevOps team
• Consult developers for deployment improvements
• Experience with physical servers is a plus
