Job summary

QBEEP INTELLIGENT SYSTEMS SDN.BHD is seeking a DevOps Engineer (Cloud & Linux) to set up and maintain cloud infrastructure and Ubuntu/Linux servers on-site in Kuala Lumpur. You will deploy applications, manage databases, and ensure security and backups across environments.

You should be proficient with Docker, Git/GitLab, SSH, Linux CLI, and at least one cloud platform such as Azure, with SSL/TLS management and firewall hardening. Experience with Nginx and PM2 is a plus.

Qualifications

• Docker and Docker Compose proficiency.
• Git/GitLab experience.
• SSH and Linux command line skills.
• Azure or another cloud platform experience.
• SSL/TLS and Certbot know‑how.
• Firewall security hardening experience.
• Server monitoring and backups know‑how.

Responsibilities

• Set up and configure Ubuntu Linux servers.
• Manage Azure or VPS cloud infrastructure.
• Configure and maintain Nginx, Docker, PM2, SSL/Certbot.
• Deploy applications and backend services.
• Manage PostgreSQL/MySQL databases.
• Perform Linux/server updates and security patching.
• Monitor server health, CPU, memory, disk and network usage.
• Implement server backup and recovery.
• Perform security checks and malware/vulnerability scanning.
• Manage firewall, SSH access, users and permissions.
