Job summary

AGENSI PEKERJAAN LINKTRIX CONSULTANTS SDN. BHD. seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to own hands-on cloud infrastructure across multiple platforms, driving automation and reliability.

You will implement IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible), manage networks, security, and cost optimization while supporting deployment teams during go-live milestones. The role requires 5+ years in IT infrastructure or DevOps, strong Linux skills, and experience with AWS, Huawei Cloud or GCP.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on IT infrastructure or DevOps experience.
• Experience with AWS, Huawei Cloud, or GCP across two+ platforms.
• Strong deployment automation, CI/CD, monitoring, and cloud security.
• Familiarity with WMS/ERP/Supply Chain environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, operate, and maintain cloud infrastructure - ensuring service levels across platforms.
• Manage infrastructure instances including patching, capacity monitoring, and hardware lifecycle upkeep.
• Configure and maintain VPNs, firewalls, load balancers, and VPCs across cloud platforms.
• Monitor resource usage and optimise cloud cost (right-sizing, scheduling, cleanup).
• Plan and build Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible.
• Automate provisioning, backup, recovery, patching; write Python or Bash scripts.
• Support delivery teams during customer deployments and go-live milestones.
• Execute upgrades, migrations, and scaling with minimal downtime.
• Apply cloud security controls; manage IAM, firewall rules, access controls.
• Set up monitoring/alerting with CloudWatch, Grafana; ensure reliability.

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the Cloud Hosting & Operations team, working as a hands-on individual contributor reporting to the Infrastructure Manager. You will deploy, operate, and maintain cloud infrastructure - ensuring consistent service levels and availability across all platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, operate, and maintain cloud infrastructure - ensuring consistent service levels and availability across all platforms.
• Manage infrastructure instances including routine patching, capacity monitoring, and hardware lifecycle upkeep.
• Configure and maintain network components including VPNs, firewalls, load balancers, and VPC configurations across all cloud platforms.
• Monitor resource utilisation and flag capacity trends or anomalies; support cloud cost optimisation actions such as right-sizing, scheduling, and resource clean-up.
• Review, plan and build Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible) to ensure consistent, repeatable environment deployments across all platforms when necessary.
• Automate provisioning, backup, recovery, patching, and system updates; write Python or Bash scripts to reduce manual operational toil.
• Provide hands-on infrastructure support to delivery teams during customer deployment phases and go-live milestones, ensuring environments are stable and handover-ready.
• Execute system upgrades, platform migrations, and infrastructure scaling with minimal service downtime.
• Apply cloud security controls across all environments in line with ISO 27001, SOC 2, PDPA, and GDPR requirements; manage IAM policies, firewall rules, and access controls.
• Set up and maintain monitoring and alerting coverage environments using CloudWatch, Grafana, and Huawei Cloud eye.

About you

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, cloud operations, or DevOps engineering.
• Practical hands-on experience with AWS, Huawei Cloud, or GCP - experience across two or more platforms is a strong advantage.
• Strong background in deployment automation, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and cloud security implementation.
• Experience supporting enterprise software environments (WMS, ERP, or Supply Chain platforms) is a strong advantage.
• Linux administration, VPC networking, routing, VPNs, and firewall configuration.
• Docker and Kubernetes (EKS / CCE / GKE); CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Bit Bucket, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Infrastructure-as-Code: Terraform (mandatory), Ansible, CloudFormation.
• HA/DR implementation, cloud cost optimisation support, and cloud security frameworks.
• Strong ownership mindset, self-directed work style, and solid problem-solving abilities.
