Job summary

Daikin Refrigeration Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. Shah Alam is seeking an Engineer (Development Planning) to manage the lifecycle of R&D tools and equipment, coordinate test activities, and ensure compliance with safety and 5S standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• Solid understanding of laboratory equipment management and calibration standards.
• Experience coordinating complex product testing and managing technical documentation.
• Ability to support asset coordination, safety compliance, and regulatory interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Manage R&D tools and equipment lifecycle, incl. calibration and maintenance.
• Coordinate comprehensive chiller testing (in-house & third-party) and produce test reports.
• Lead R&D safety compliance and 5S activities in storage areas and offices.
• Handle R&D stock movement documentation and MTN/RGDN processes.
• Interpret regulations and prepare country-specific interpretation sheets for compliance.
• Translate technical documents using online tools and cross-reference terms.
• Maintain master list of R&D software/hardware assets and renew licenses to prevent downtime.
• Support cross-functional teams by aligning equipment/documentation with timelines.
