Job summary

Qualifications

Possess a recognized degree in relevant engineering fields.
Knowledge of technical support and testing for hardware and software.
Knowledge of communication protocols like Modbus, BACnet.

Responsibilities

Meet with the product design team to determine testing parameters.
Write, update, and create test plans and cases.
Ensure test compliance with standards and readiness for release.
Develop automation procedures and documentation for testing.
Prepare test reports for team leaders.

Job description

Meet with the product design team (hardware and software) to determine product testing parameters.

Writing test plans, creating test plans, updating test plans and creating test cases for the product according to software and hardware enhancement and development cycle.

Ensure all tests and procedures meet company and industry standards.

Ensure all products software and hardware functionality readiness for sales to customers or release.

Develop testing automation procedures and program in line with product development cycle.

Develop testing automation procedure documentation for testing technician.

Prepare test reports for team leaders.

Requirements:

Possess a recognized degree in Electrical / Electronic / Computer / Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent.

Knowledge of technical support and technical testing for hardware and software products.

Knowledge of Niagara Framework, Building Automation & Analytics Technologies.

Knowledge of instrumentation sensors and field communication protocols, e.g Modbus, BACnet etc.

Knowledge is programming language such as C++, python is an advantage.
