Job summary

Infotree Global Solutions in Bayan Lepas, Penang, Malaysia is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to modernize legacy desktop applications into React-based interfaces while preserving critical C# WPF code.

You will design RESTful APIs, integrate with Oracle/SQL databases, and participate in code reviews and production support. Daily stand-ups ensure clear direction and timely delivery for a one-year contract ending in late 2027.

Qualifications

• Proficient in WPF and desktop UI development.
• Strong experience with React or Angular.
• Experience with GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and RESTful APIs.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain responsive web applications and desktop solutions.

Experience : 5- 8 years

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain responsive web applications and desktop solutions.
• Develop and optimize integrations with Oracle and SQL-based databases.
• Design and implement REST APIs and backend services.
• Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Will be able to reverse engineered/understand legacy code written in C#, WPF and convert them to modernized React UI development
• Regularly attend daily stand-up meeting for updates, direction, reporting out status and understanding requirements and designs

Must Have

• WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation)
• React & Angular
• Experience with GitHub and modern source control practices and CICD pipelines
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.

Nice to have

• Experience using automated testing frameworks and software quality practices.
• Experience with cloud platforms, containerization technologies
