Job summary

Dexian Asia Pacific in Penang, Malaysia, is seeking a versatile software engineer to build and maintain responsive web applications and desktop solutions, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

You will modernize legacy C# and WPF code into a modern React UI, design and implement RESTful APIs and backend services, participate in code reviews, and support production deployments through CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) experience is required.
• Experience with React and Angular.
• Experience with GitHub and modern source control practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain responsive web applications and desktop solutions.
• Design and implement REST APIs and backend services.
• Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Reverse engineer legacy C# / WPF code to modern React UI.
• Attend daily stand-up meetings to report progress and understand requirements.

Job description

• Develop and optimize integrations with Oracle and SQL-based databases.
• Design and implement REST APIs and backend services.
• Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Will be able to reverse engineered/understand legacy code written in C#, WPF and convert them to modernized React UI development
• Regularly attend daily stand-up meeting for updates, direction, reporting out status and understanding requirements and designs
