Job summary

US Tech Solutions in Bayan Lepas, Penang, Malaysia, is seeking an experienced Software Developer with C#/.NET, WPF, and React to design, develop, and modernize desktop and web applications. The role emphasizes migrating WPF UIs to React, integrating RESTful APIs, and working with Oracle databases.

You will join a team to build automation applications, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, and participate in daily stand-ups and code reviews, with a 12-month full-time contract and hourly pay of

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of relevant experience in software development.
• Strong hands-on experience in C# and .NET Framework.
• Experience developing and maintaining WPF-based desktop applications.
• Experience developing modern web applications using React.
• Experience understanding and modernizing legacy applications.
• Experience working with SQL databases; Oracle experience preferred.
• Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Experience using GitHub, source control tools, and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, reverse-engineer, and understand legacy applications developed using C# and WPF.

• Develop, integrate, and optimize RESTful APIs, backend services, and database integrations.
• Work with SQL-based databases, preferably Oracle, to ensure efficient data access and application performance.
• Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, debugging, and production support activities.
• Use GitHub and modern source control practices to manage code and collaborate with development teams.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines to support application builds, testing, and deployments.
• Attend daily stand-up meetings to provide progress updates, communicate blockers, and understand requirements and technical designs.
