Job summary

CPP Inc. in Malaysia seeks a Design Supervisor to lead a team of designers delivering wind tunnel engineering projects. You will mentor staff, manage project priorities, and ensure deliverables meet safety, quality, and schedule requirements.

You will collaborate with Operations, engage stakeholders across regions, and drive continuous improvement in design processes while maintaining high standards of technical excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in Engineering, Design, Drafting, or related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering design or technical design environments.
• Experience leading or supervising design teams.

We are looking for a Design Supervisor to lead and support a team of designers delivering innovative wind tunnel engineering projects.

Success in this role means effectively leading people, maintaining high design quality standards, managing project priorities, and ensuring engineering deliverables are completed accurately, safely, and on schedule. You will work closely with the Operations Manager and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across multiple regions and time zones.

Skills & Experience

• Degree qualification in Engineering, Design, Drafting, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in an engineering design or technical design environment.
• Demonstrated experience leading, mentoring, or supervising design teams.
• Experience delivering complex engineering projects within defined timelines and budgets.
• Strong understanding of CAD-based design processes and design review practices.
• Excellent planning, organisation, and project coordination skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.
