Job summary

Phillip Capital Group, a leading financial institution, invites applications for an Executive, Settlement Operations (Derivatives) in Malaysia. The role focuses on ensuring accurate and timely settlement of BURSA and foreign products and handling daily trade confirmations.

You will also perform statutory and regulatory reporting, manage funds in bank segregated accounts, process currency conversions, and contribute to platform and process enhancements.

• Experience in settlement operations in the financial industry preferred.

• Keep abreast with current developments in the industry and ensure compliance with rules and regulation.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily trades confirmation for BURSA & foreign product and open positions.
• Perform statutory and regulatory reporting to the relevant authorities.
• Ensure settlement functions are carried out on a timely, accurate and efficient manner.
• Ensure client’s deposit are updated in trading platform and Back Office system correctly.
• Process funds withdrawal request from clients and ensure the transactions are accounted in trading platform and Back Office system immediately.
• Process currency conversion for clients to cover clients’ margin deficit.
• Manage funds in bank segregated accounts and funds in Bursa and foreign broker.
• Ensure daily transactions and journal entries are properly recorded in Back Office.
• Lead and/ or participate in the development and implementation of enhancements to Platforms, Processes and Products.
• To undertake any assignments as and when instructed by the superior and/or the management.
