Qualifications

• Qualified dentist with a recognised degree (DDS/BDS or equivalent).
• Malaysia dental registration or licensure is in place.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical dental experience in a healthcare setting.
• Strong clinical skills in general dentistry and patient management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conducting thorough oral examinations and diagnosing dental conditions using clinical assessment and radiographic imaging
• Providing preventative, restorative and cosmetic dental treatments including fillings, extractions, root canal therapy and scaling
• Developing and implementing individualised treatment plans for patients based on their specific dental needs
• Educating patients on oral hygiene practices and preventative care measures to maintain optimal dental health
• Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Collaborating with dental assistants and hygienists to ensure efficient clinic operations and quality patient care
• Adhering to sterilisation protocols and infection control procedures to ensure a safe clinical environment
• Staying current with advancements in dental practice and continuing professional development
• Managing patient concerns and complaints professionally whilst maintaining patient confidentiality
