Hilton Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Demi Chef to join our Hotels culinary team. You will craft delicious dishes, lead the station, and deliver memorable guest experiences with hospitality at the core.

The role requires technical education in hospitality or culinary school and at least 3 years as a cook in a high-standard environment. You’ll supervise line cooks, ensure food quality, maintain cleanliness, and coach the team to excellence.

Qualifications

• Technical education in hospitality or culinary school is preferred.
• Minimum cooking experience in high-standard environments.
• Ability to lead and coach kitchen staff with focus on quality.
• Knowledge of sanitation practices and HACCP guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare great-tasting dishes according to standard recipes and presentation.
• Supervise kitchen team during service and provide guidance as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and prevent cross-contamination in all work areas.
• Ensure food quality, storage, and stock rotation compliance.
• Assist with controlling food costs and improving margins.
• Inspire and develop team through coaching and feedback.
