KSL Esplanade Hotel is seeking motivated culinary professionals to join our kitchen team. Successful candidates will support daily kitchen operations, food preparation and cooking while ensuring consistent food quality and compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities include preparing dishes per approved recipes, maintaining hygiene, managing stock and supporting junior team members, with shifts including weekends and public holidays.

Competenze

• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply for the Commis position.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
• Good teamwork, communication and time management skills.

Mansioni

• Support and execute daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking and presentation.
• Prepare and produce dishes in accordance with approved recipes, established standards and hotel requirements.
• Maintain consistency in food quality, taste, portion control and presentation.
• Ensure kitchen workstations, equipment and utensils are properly maintained in a clean, organised and hygienic condition.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, labelling and stock rotation of food ingredients.
• Monitor ingredient usage, maintain stock levels and minimise food wastage.
• Coordinate effectively with kitchen team members to ensure efficient food preparation and timely service delivery.
• Provide guidance and support to junior kitchen team members, where applicable.
• Adhere to established food safety, hygiene, sanitation and workplace safety standards.
