Responsibility
Demand Forecasting & Planning
- Own monthly demand forecasts for a portfolio of 2,000–3,000 SKUs across multiple channels and markets.
- Prepare weekly and monthly demand forecasts using sales history, customer orders, commercial insights, and market intelligence.
- Develop baseline forecasts based on historical trends, seasonality, promotional activities, and revenue plans.
- Continuously review and improve forecast accuracy through data analysis and business insights.
S&OP & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Supply Planning, and Commercial teams throughout the S&OP process.
- Align demand forecasts with revenue targets and business strategies.
- Communicate demand assumptions, risks, opportunities, and mitigation plans to stakeholders.
- Facilitate forecasting discussions and consensus planning activities.
Analysis & Continuous Improvement
- Analyze forecast variances, demand volatility, outliers, and market trends.
- Identify opportunities to improve forecasting methodologies and planning processes.
- Monitor key performance indicators including: Forecast Accuracy, Forecast Bias, Service Levels, Inventory Performance & Slow-Moving and Excess Stock
Product Lifecycle & Inventory Management
- Manage forecasting activities for: New Product Launches, Product Phase-Ins & Phase-Outs, Promotions & Campaigns, Seasonal Demand Changes & Customer Events
- Drive exception-based planning and proactively upscale risks affecting customer service or inventory health.
- Maintain planning system data integrity and manage obsolete inventory information.
