Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced EHS professional to oversee environment, health and safety for delivery projects. You will manage on-site partners and ensure EHS compliance across active sites in Malaysia.
The role requires a DOSH SHO Greenbook registered officer with 3–5 years of SHO experience, strong knowledge of local EHS regulations, and willingness to travel to project locations nationwide. Proactive training and reporting are essential components.

1. Responsible for the EHS of the delivery projects. Manage business partners onsite delivery operations and EHS compliance
2. Implement, monitor and continuously improve the Company EHS policies, procedures and management systems across all active projects
3. Conduct regular site EHS inspections, audits and review risk assessment (HIRARC) on regular basis across project sites
4. Ensure compliance with OSHA 1994 (Amendment 2022) Act requirements and other relevant Malaysian regulations
5. Ensure compliance with HQ and Customer EHS requirements
6. Investigate accidents, incidents and near-misses, prepare investigation reports and corrective / preventive action (CAPA) plans
7. Conduct EHS inductions, toolbox talks and training sessions for employees, business partners and site personnel
8. Maintain and update EHS documentation and statutory compliance records
9. Liaise with DOSH, Local Authorities and Customer representative during audits and inspections
10. Prepare weekly, monthly EHS reports and KPI's for Management review
11. Support tender and contract requirements relating to EHS compliance and prepare EHS Plan for respective project
12. Advise project teams on SOP's for high risk activities (work at height, confined space, live electrical works, lifting work)
13. Support EHS operational compliance initiatives (i.e. ISO related documentation, internal audits) as needed
14. Help and build and maintain a Company wide EHS culture through internal communications, campaigns and training initiatives
1. Registered Safety & Health Officer with DOSH (valid SHO Greenbook holder)
2. Minimum 3 - 5 years experience as an SHO, preferably in telecommunications, construction or infrastructure sector
3. Sound knowledge of Malaysian EHS legislation and industry best practices
4. Willing and able to travel frequently to project sites across Malaysia
5. Strong communication, reporting and interpersonal skills
6. Possess own transport and valid driving license
7. Proficient in MS Office, Power BI and experience with EHS reporting systems is an advantage
