Job summary

A&J Hakko in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a reliable Delivery Driver for a full-time role to ensure prompt, safe delivery of retail and consumer products. You will be the face of the company, upholding high standards of customer service and vehicle maintenance.

Key duties include vehicle operation, route planning, loading/unloading, and recording deliveries with customer signatures. A valid GDL license and clean driving record are required, with travel to outstation locations as needed.

Qualifications

• GDL license with a clean driving record.
• Experience driving in a logistics/transport role is preferred.
• Willingness to travel outstation as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain delivery vehicles in safe working condition.
• Plan and execute efficient delivery routes to meet schedules.
• Load, secure and unload merchandise safely for arrival in pristine condition.
• Deliver products to customers across Kuala Lumpur using GPS and traffic patterns.
• Obtain customer signatures and document deliveries accurately.

About the role

A&J Hakko is seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring our retail and consumer products reach customers efficiently and safely. As a Delivery Driver, you will be the face of our company, responsible for timely deliveries whilst maintaining the highest standards of customer service and vehicle maintenance. This role is essential to our operations and directly impacts customer satisfaction and business success.

Key responsibilities

• Operating and maintaining delivery vehicles in safe working condition, conducting pre-delivery vehicle checks and reporting any mechanical issues promptly
• Planning and executing efficient delivery routes to meet delivery schedules and time windows
• Loading, securing and unloading merchandise safely and carefully, ensuring products arrive in pristine condition
• Delivering products to customers across Kuala Lumpur, following GPS directions and navigating traffic patterns effectively
• Obtaining customer signatures and documentation upon delivery, maintaining accurate records of all deliveries

What we're looking for

• A valid GDL licence with a clean driving record, with experience driving commercial vehicles preferred
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar logistics or transportation role
• Able to travel outstation
