Job summary

YAMEI LOGISTICS GLOBAL SDN.BHD. is seeking a reliable driver to transport goods and staff in Kuala Lumpur and surrounding areas. You will work daily to ensure on-time arrivals and maintain vehicle condition.

Responsibilities include route planning with GPS, logging travel distances and fuel costs, and reporting any faults promptly. A valid license and local road knowledge are required. The role demands punctuality, honesty and a professional attitude, with English and Bahasa Malaysia basics;

Qualifications

• Valid driving license with clean record (Class D / GDL / E).
• Strong knowledge of Kuala Lumpur and Selangor routes.
• Punctual, honest, reliable with professional attitude.
• Basic English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin an advantage.

Job description

Drive safely to transport [goods / passengers / staff] to designated locations daily.

Plan efficient routes using GPS tracking applications to avoid heavy traffic and ensure timely arrivals.

Inspect the vehicle daily for mechanical issues, fuel levels, tire pressure, and general cleanliness.

Schedule regular maintenance and servicing for the vehicle, reporting any faults immediately to management.

Load and unload items carefully [only include this if it is a delivery/lorry driver role].

Maintain driving logs and record travel distances, fuel expenses, and toll receipts.

Adhere to traffic laws and company safety policies at all times

Requirements & Qualifications

Valid driving license: Must possess a valid [Class D / GDL / E] license with a clean driving record.

Familiarity with routes: Strong knowledge of roads in Kuala Lumpur / Selangor and experience using Waze or Google Maps.

Personal traits: Punctual, honest, reliable, and possesses a polite, professional attitude.

Language skills: Basic proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Ability to communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients/customers is an added advantage.
