Job summary

HAVI TechHUB in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Database Administrator to join our team. You will oversee operational maintenance, monitoring, and support of enterprise database environments to ensure availability, performance, and data integrity.

As part of a collaborative team, you will work with Senior Database Engineers, Platform Engineering, SRE, and Application Development to maintain reliable, secure database operations in a fast-evolving supply chain technology landscape.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in database administration or support roles.
• Experience supporting production database environments.
• Basic understanding of high availability and disaster recovery concepts.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Good analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to participate in on-call or shift-based support models.

Responsibilities

About The Role

The Database Administrator (DBA) is responsible for the operational maintenance, monitoring, and support of enterprise database environments to ensure availability, performance, and data integrity.

The DBA executes routine database management tasks including monitoring, patching, backups, access management, and troubleshooting, while adhering to enterprise standards and security policies.
