PERSOL Workforce Solutions Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled Database Administrator to deploy, configure, and optimize database environments across Linux and Windows servers. This role emphasizes security, reliability, and high availability to support mission-critical applications.

You will collaborate with developers to refine data models, implement backup strategies, monitor performance, and ensure data integrity.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with MS SQL Server, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MariaDB/MySQL.
• Strong command of SQL and DBA tools.
• Strong understanding of database modelling.
• Experience working with Linux and Windows environments.
• Familiarity with Unix scripts and Windows PowerShell.
• Familiarity with Java, .Net, NodeJS.

Monitor, tune, and maintain database performance, identifying bottlenecks and implementing corrective measures for optimal system efficiency

Collaborate with developers to refine logical and physical data models, ensuring efficient database design and alignment with application needs

About you

Extensive experience with MS SQL Server, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MariaDB/MySQL

Strong command of SQL and DBA tools

Strong understanding of database modelling

Experienced in working with Linux and Windows environments

Familiarity with scripting tools such as Unix scripts and Windows PowerShell

Familiarity with popular programming languages such as Java, .Net, NodeJS
