Job summary

MR D.I.Y Trading Sdn Bhd is seeking an Assistant Manager Data Science to lead category optimization and allocation initiatives. You will build forecasting models, evaluate accuracy, and define What-if scenarios to balance stock with demand and store capacity.

You will develop dashboards and analytics, ensure reliable data pipelines, and collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable insights.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in data science/analytics.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/DS/IT or equivalent.
• Strong Python skills (pandas; sklearn) and SQL.
• Hands-on time series forecasting and predictive modeling.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven mindset.
• Experience in project management and stakeholder collaboration is a plus.

• Prediction and Forecast Models: Build and maintain forecasting models.
